2. Chrome Extension Data

When you use the ApplyLoom Chrome Extension, we collect information necessary to automate your job hunt:

  • Job Application Details: Job titles, company names, job descriptions, and locations from pages you visit, only when you explicitly interact with the extension or use the tracking features.
  • User Interaction: Your preferences for autofill and UI settings are stored locally on your device and synced to your account.
  • No Broad Browsing History: We do not collect or store your general browsing history. Data is only processed on supported job portals and application pages.

How We Handle Your Data

Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest in our secure databases.

No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data is used solely to provide and improve the features of ApplyLoom.

AI Processing: If you use our AI features (Resume Scoring, Interview Coaching), relevant data like your resume text is sent to our AI partners (e.g., OpenAI, NVIDIA) strictly for processing your request. We choose partners that prioritize data privacy and security.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information as long as your account is active. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will process such requests within 30 days.
